What makes Nick so special is the angled bottom of the compartments. The resulting tilted surface perfectly matches the angles and curves of the cutlery, thereby ensuring a snug fit in each compartment without it slipping and rattling around so much when the drawer is opened.

Nick makes very good use of the interior of the drawer. Since the narrow dividers enable two compartments to be positioned behind each other, all of the knives, forks and spoons can be stored together in two different lengths.
